The KMR is designed to function as a stand alone system, but can also be mounted onto a modular portion of a modular BCM rail, by using the modularity and strength of the modularity features within the BCM Rail family. As an added benefit, this also converts the KMR into a scalable modular system, further increasing the adaptability and utility of the KMR system. This KMR rail section adapts the 1913 Picatinny rail standard interface, to a modular locking system that accommodates the BCM proprietary keymod handguard attachment system.
